“How great is this weather!” “It sure is warm for winter.” “Imagine how amazing it will be in the spring.” “It’s going to be hot in summer for sure.” “We better make sure all our windows and doors are fully functional and working, right”?
Winter time is when we should be talking about this with our family. Sadly, it is not.
The reality is we probably do not even think about the performance of our windows and doors until the guests are arriving and the BBQ is lit. It is only then that we realise the bloody bi fold doors will not open properly and the stupid set of French doors will not budge; and yes, we have been meaning to fix these since little Owen was two years old.
